SAMUEL AUFFANT

Winnacunnet High — Running back and team captain…Ran for 1,700 yards in 2007, averaging 6.7 yards per carry… Scored 20 TDs including three kickoff returns for scores…Also plays hockey and baseball…On school’s honor roll 10 times including five with high honors… Member of NH Shrine team.

MICHAEL BLOUIN

Spaulding High — Running back, defensive back…Two-time All-State first team… Ran for over 1,000 yards in 2007…Captain of football and track…Member of National Honor Society, received DAR Good Citizen Award…Accepted early decision at Bowdoin.

GABE BOURGEOIS

Exeter High — Fullback. First team allstater who ran for 1,354 yards, scored 16 touchdowns, averaged 7.4 yards per carry… Member of both the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society… Will play for the NH Shrine team and at Tufts this fall, where he was accepted early decision.

LLOYD (CHAS) CORNELL

Bishop Brady High — Captain and offensive-defensive tackle…Division Five All-State first team who will play for NH Shrine…Attended St. Paul's School AdvancedStudies Program…A piano player for 10 years and a Boy Scout working toward Eagle Scout standing by building a handicap ramp at a local Grange hall.

RYAN CRAY

Souhegan High — Receiver, safety… First team Division Three All State who had 25 receptions, averaging 19 yard per catch average…Defensively, he had 65 tackles and four interceptions… In track, a school record holder in sprint event…Member of the National Honor Society, has received the Clarkson University Leadership Award…Will be a NH Shrine participant.

NICHOLAS CROTEAU

Bishop Guertin High — Tight enddefensive end, two-year first team All- State…Had 22 catches, six for touchdowns...On defense, he posted eight sacks, and 56 unassisted tackles…Will be a Shrine team player…Posted a 1490 on his SATs and was recognized for exemplary volunteer service as a Global Health Ministry Volunteer.

MATTHEW CYR

Bishop Guertin High — Running backdefensive back…First team All State who ran for 1,003 yards and 18 touchdowns… On defense, he grabbed five interceptions…Co-captain of football and baseball teams…Winner of the Rensselaer Medal Award and a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.

JOHN (CODY) DODDS

H a n o v e r Hi g h — C e n t e r - linebacker…Captain and All-State first team at center...Also captain of Hanover High hockey team…An honors or high honors student each semester , he has volunteered with various charities and school groups including Hurricane Katrina Relief, Habitat for Humanity and Hanover High's Captain's Council.

 
DANIEL (BRAD) KELLY

Exeter High — Tight end-defensive end…First team All State at tight end, Brad won the Dr. Arthur Hanson Scholar- Athlete Award in 2007…Ranked ninth in his class of 402 students and a four-year president of his class…Will enter West Point in June and plans to play football for Army.

TYLER KUEHL

Plymouth High — Offensive-defensive end…An All-State selection Tyler had 18 catches for 360 yards, six TDs…A Shrine team member, he posted 35 unassisted tackles, four sacks and two interceptions… Has received outstanding academic excellence awards in chemistry, Spanish and history and is a member of the National honor Society and the National Music Honor Society.

BRETT MCALLISTER

Exeter High — Halfback-safety…A 2008 Shrine Bowl player and a first team All-State selection…Led his team in tackles with 69, recovered four fumbles and had two interceptions while rushing for over 1,000 yards…A member of the National Latin Honor Society and an honor roll student every quarter, Brett will continue to play football at Bates College.

BRIAN MUSK

Dover High — tackle-defensive end… Captain and Division Two All-State on defense, Brian was also his team’s punter, averaging 32 yards per punt…Ranked in the top ten percent of his class, he is a member of the World Language Honor Society and president of the Latin Club… He has been offered ROTC scholarships from four universities.

ZACK ROEDER

Keene High — Tight end-linebacker…First team Division Two All-State receiver with 52 receptions for 757 yards and 10 TDs… Zack also punted for an average of over 41 yards…Ranked 15 in a class of 458 students, Zack posted high honors 14 of 14 quarters…Captain of the football and hockey teams and accepted early decision at Middlebury.

CHRISTIAN (REED) SPILLER

Portsmouth High — Offensive-defensive lineman…A three-year starter and two-year All-State selection, Reed was captain of his team and named to the Shrine team…A member of the school's Peer Leadership Program…Ranked ninth in his class of 291, he will take Portsmouth High’s Male Scholar-Athlete Award to Yale University where he plans to play football.

JAMES STEWART

Salem High — Fullback-linebacker…A first team All-State linebacker and named to the 2008 Shrine team this summer…His defensive numbers included 80 solo and 36 assisted tackles…As a fullback he ran for over 600 yards…A member of the National Honor Society, Jim has a 3.5 GPA while taking honors courses.

SPIRO ALEXANDER THEODHOSI

Londonderry High — Running back… Honors include New Hampshire’s Mr. Football Award, Union Leader Player-of-the- Year, first team All-State, selection to the Shrine team…Alex rushed for 2,001 yards and 28 TDs in 2007, had two 300- yard games and three others of 200 yardsplus… Ranked in the top 8 percent of his class, recipient of many scholastic honors.
