have honored seven sets of brothers, Eric Hanson (1989)
and Jon Hanson (1991), Douglas DiCenzo (1995) and Daniel
Dicenzo (1997), Richard Holmes (1994) and Brian Holmes
(1997), Oglesby Young (1992) and Ben Young (1999), Brett
Seastedt (2002) and Tye Seastedt (2001), and Kevin Madden
(2001) and Kelly Madden (2005),
Matt Pinkos (1997) and
Mark Pinkos (2002).

We
have honored 16 former High School football coaches: Dick
Eustis, Forest Branch, Hubie McDonough, Sr., Buzz
Harvey, Ed Kissel, Bob Underhill, Bob Chabot, Ken Parady,
Dick Martin, Charile Quinn, Michael Murphy, Jeff Francoeur,
Jim Fitzgerald, Chuck Lenahan, Dick Piwowarski and Bill
Haubrich, Sr.

We
have also honored two great UNH and
Dartmouth
coaches; Joe Yukica and Bill Bowes, and three great UNH and
Dartmouth
athletic Directors; Andy Mooradian, Seaver Peters and Carl
Lundholm.

We
have honored one National Football League All-Pro, St.
Anselm's Ray "Scooter"
McLean.
-
Among
our honorees, count two NHIAA Football Officials, Charlie
Hunt and Jeff Francoeur, one Union Leader Sports Editor, Joe
Barriea and the Union Leader's ace photographer, George
Naum.

Three
of our honorees have played football on
National
Championship
College
teams; "Dutch" Knox at UNH in the early '30s, Bob Chabot at
Army in 1945 and 1945, and Matt Jordan at UMass in 1998.

Joe
Yukica won New England "Coach of the Year" honors at three
schools: UNH 1967, Boston College 1971 and Dartmouth 1978.

A
big hand for our own Director Jim Jeanotte for his work with
high school kids on Channel 11's "Granite State Challenge."

Chapter
Director Billy Pappas, who starred in football at
Manchester
Central, UNH and in the
US
Air Force. Director Ray Truncellito and his son Jim
were both Dartmouth Football stand-outs. Chapter Director
Dr. George Larkin was captain of the BC Eagles football
team.

Another
Chapter Director, Bob Norton shines as a College Hockey
broadcaster. Bob is principal of Woburn High School in
Woburn, MA.

Our
NH Chapter has had one life member, the late Jim
Hayes.
-
Six years
ago we honored a father and son combination, Nick and Ron
Pappas for their contributions to NH football. In 2002,
brothers Nick and Jim Vailas received the same
honor.
-
Five
members of our Board of Directors have also been Head Coach
of the New Hampshire Shrine All star Team. The most
recent, Bill Ball, coached the Granite Staters in their game
against the Vermont All Stars last summer. Jim
Fitzgerald, Hank Sanders and Bob Chabot have also served as
Head Coach of New Hampshire's Shrine
Team.

Our
N.H. Chapter has four Annual Events: the Scholar/Athlete
Banquet in May, our annual mid-summer Golf Challenge
Tournament, our June High School Football Coaches Clinic at
St. Anselm College and our Annual Football Huddle at the end
of the High School Football Season.

At
past dinners, we have honored two NHIAA Football
Officials. Charlie Hunt and Jeff Francouer. Two
media representatives have also been feted, former Union
Leader Sports Editor Joe Barnea, and Union Leader
photographer George Naum.

Past
President and Director Dr. George Larkin was honored in 2004
by Southern NH University, which named its athletic field
after him.
