At the Scholar Athlete Awards Dinner to be held on May 8, 2007, the Chapter will recognize
Tom Rath of Rath Young and Pignatelli Law Firm, with its Jim “Red” Hayes Award for community support. Tom’s leadership has contributed to numerous community initiatives that have benefited a host of organizations in the Concord Area of our state. The dinner will be
dedicated to the memory of the late Gary Millen who died in May, 2006, long time head football coach at Kennett High School, who was in the post season 19 times and appeared in 11 state title games. We are proud to honor the memory of Gary for all he did for football in the State of New Hampshire and for The Joe Yukica Football Foundation. He truly had an impact on the lives he touched.

EXETER – At groundbreaking ceremonies at the site of the new
Exeter High School, unbeknownst to longtime Exeter football coach
and athletic director, Bill Ball,
the Exeter Region Cooperative School Board names the new athletic
stadium in his honor – William D. Ball
Stadium.
Ball is in his 26th season of teaching and coaching at
Exeter and has been the head coach of the Blue Hawks for the past 11
years and athletic director for the past 5 years. The honor was
given for his extraordinary leadership, both on and off the field,
because he reflects the values of the community and because he is an
outstanding example for the young people. He is a man whose
priorities are faith, family, friends, integrity, excellence and,
most of all, commitment to the young people of Exeter. His life is
considered by many to be a role model for all students.
